ASI would like to express our concern to our customers and business partners affected by the recent floods in the Midwest. We realize that you face many difficulties and the payment of your auto insurance premiums might be overlooked or disrupted by the pressing demands of your flood recovery. Therefore, in the Indiana and Illinois disaster counties we will not be cancelling or non-renewing any policies during the recovery periods specified by the respective Departments of Insurance.

If you are affected by the flooding in the disaster counties of Indiana and Illinois, you may defer your current payments beyond the period of time when your policy would have otherwise been cancelled. While this premium must still be paid, you will be given more time to make these payments as you begin to recover from the disaster.

We have also reinstated policies that recently cancelled as directed by the state insurance departments and have communicated this with agents and affected customers.
